After arriving in Lima, our team quickly assembled skateboards and got our supplies ready. First, we visited the Manchay Skatepark in a small rural village on the outskirts of Lima. Angelo Caro and other amateur and professional Peruvian skaters met us at the skatepark, where we gave away around 50 complete skateboards and skated with the kids. Families from all parts of the community came to receive skateboards for their kids, and the youth from the neighborhood came to skate and receive skateboards.

Next, we returned to Lima, and that evening we gave away around 25 decks at the Converse Skatepark near the center of Lima. There, Angelo Caro and other Peruvian skaters came to skate with our crew from Tampa, and it was a great turnout. Some of the younger kids at the skatepark and a group of orphans from la Casa Generación received complete skateboards. Many people came out and had a great time at the Converse Skatepark.

Overall, our time in Lima was extremely impactful and successful as we visited all different types of communities across all parts of the larger city. Donating skateboards to families, young aspiring skaters, and even some who already knew how to skate, this visit left a lasting impression on those across Lima.
